5 Tips to enjoy your summer holiday

Summer has arrived and we all start to fantasize, plan or organize

Summer has arrived and we all start to fantasize, plan or organize the final details of our holiday. For some it is the happiest time of year, but for others all the planning and organizing during these days is a real challenge and can leave you exhausted. We give you 5 tips for you to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Family holidays

  1. Family holidays? Everyone should collaborate

A Family Holiday can turn into a real nightmare of organization if all the burden is on one person. So dont hesitate and make everyone participate. Prepare an envelope for each person so they can keep charge of putting everything essential in the envelope (identity card, passport, health card, driver’s licenses, boarding passes). Before leaving just check that everything is in order.

If you give a list to each person of what they have to put in their suitcase (3 pants, 2 swimsuits, sandals, phone charger) they can cross off what they’ve got and you can help them with what they are missing.

  1. Do not worry if you forget something

Today in almost any corner of the world you can find everything. If someone forgets a toothbrush, bathing suit or a adapter plugs, dont panic. Go to the nearest supermarket and buy what you have forgotten. If you’re worried about the extra expense that it may involve, you can plan a part of the holiday budget for emergency expenses. As a general rule, the essential things that you forget can be replaced for less than 40-50 Euros.

  1. Turn off the phone, at least for a few hours

A holiday is to relax, enjoy and unwind from the day. Some people during the rest of the year live attached to the phone and checking the mail every 10 minutes. Take advantage of your holiday days to disconnect from your mobile phone. If you can not stand being disconnected all day, turn it on for a while, check that the world remains the same and turn it off again. If you travel abroad and dont have an Internet connection, take it as an advantage and enjoy the destination as you would have done 15 years ago.

  1. Enjoy more and less photographing

We all love to come back from a holiday with a few souvenirs and pictures to give and show friends and family. But since the invention of digital cameras and mobile phones, photo fever has invaded us. How many times have you returned from a holiday with 700 photographs and then never looked at them again? Try it and try to do more with your own instead of seeing things through a screen. Limit the pictures you do every day will make you choose the truly important moments.

  1. Exchange your currency in advance

If the currency of your destination you´re traveling to is other than Euro, do not let the currency exchange become something to solve once you’re on Holiday. We recommend that you exchange your currency in advance to avoid having to worry about finding an exchange office, queuing or you getting a bad price for your holidays. Buy your currency now on our Eurochange web page and we  will give you the best price with the convenience of being able to receive them at your home in 24-72 hours.

We hope you enjoy the holiday and only have good things to tell when your back.
