Plans to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day
Next March 17th marks the day of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. In different cities around the world they will be celebrating this day with parades and parties in streets, parks and with the local Irish. Today we propose four places where you could celebrate this day.
Dublin
In Dublin they celebrate San Patrick in style between the 14th and 17th of March. During these days many events take place in the city: fairground rides, music, theater, cinema and, above all, plenty of pubs to sample beer, are some of the activities you can find. New York
New York is a city that received many Irish immigrants in the past. For this reason the day of its patron is celebrated with a great parade and Irish pubs organize parties to celebrate the day. In addition, depending on the year, you'll see some icons of the city dyed green: the water of the Hudson River or Empire State Building lighting are some examples. In the British capital they also celebrate Saint Patrick's Day with a multitude of activities. In addition to a parade through the main streets, in Trafalgar Square a free festival of music is organized with dances, theater and Irish cuisine. Benidorm
If you're spending Saint Patrick's Day in Spain, dont think that you won't be able to celebrate: Benidorm becomes little Ireland. Irish flags, shamrocks and green decor, take to the streets to celebrate this day.
