The new 10 euro note has been introduced into circulation.
Today, September 23 2014, the new 10 euro note has been introduced into circulation.
The note follows the line that came out a few months ago with the new 5 euro note (it’s called the Europe Series) and it is expected that little by little the banknotes that already exist in circulation will be updated.
This new series makes the note more difficult to counterfeit and in addition the material in which they are manufactured is more durable than the previous one. This is especially important for the smaller notes that are the fastest to wear.
